Working with African partners for Africa

In Africa, the Foundation is focusing on Benin, Burundi, the DR Congo and Senegal, but also supports initiatives in many other African countries. It aims to support African civil society organisations and leaders mainly through grants, for projects or core funding, as well as through technical support and networking. Occasionally, it also extends loans and bank guarantees to organisations or social businesses.

Centre for Philanthropy

KBF mainly invests money from private donors. These donors benefit from the services of the Foundation’s Centre for Philanthropy, which over the years has developed a series of philanthropic solutions that can respond to various situations and the specific objectives of each philanthropist.

The Myriad Alliance

KBF is the member for Europe of the Myriad Alliance for borderless giving. The Myriad Alliance is a collaborative network of organisations with services that expand cross-border philanthropy across the globe. Positioned across various countries and regions, each member organisation specialises in facilitating international giving from their market.
